01. A conversation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
We review your history, ask how you have been feeling, and listen to every concern, including the ones that seem small.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month | Artisan Plastic Surgery, Atlanta
This October, we are inviting our past breast patients back for a complimentary implant check, because your long-term health matters to us as much as your results did.
Our Commitment
When Dr. Diane Alexander and Dr. Bernadette Wang Ashraf founded Artisan, they set out to build a practice where women are cared for by women who understand their bodies, their lives, and their health from the inside. That care does not end at your final follow-up. It means staying with you as your body changes, and reaching out when it is time to check in.

A Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care
Artisan was founded by women who believe a woman's health deserves attention at every stage, not just on the day of surgery. Tell us roughly when you had your surgery and our patient coordinator will reach out to find a time.
We are dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering environment, ensuring that you feel comfortable and stay healthy throughout your entire journey.
Reserve My EvaluationYour Breast Health Is Our Priority
Implants are often replaced after roughly seven to ten years. A check lets us see where yours are and plan ahead, on your timeline.
Capsular contracture, shifting, or a slow leak can develop without obvious symptoms. Periodic evaluation is recommended for women with implants, particularly silicone.
Pregnancy, nursing, weight, hormones, and time all affect how implants sit and how breasts look and feel. What suited you years ago deserves a fresh look.
A mammogram and an implant check are two parts of the same commitment to your health. We will help you with both.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The consultation is complimentary, as every consultation at Artisan always has been. Any procedure that follows is planned and priced separately, with you, at your pace. We make sure you are comfortable doing a self-check with implants and that your mammogram is on the calendar.
We review your history, ask how you have been feeling, and listen to every concern, including the ones that seem small.
Our surgeon examines your breasts and implants for contracture, movement, rupture, or other changes, and recommends imaging if anything needs a closer look.
If all is well, that is the answer. If something has changed, we walk you through every option, from monitoring to exchange to removal. Nothing is decided in the room.
